South Korean indie band Say Sue Me return to their roots with fuzzed out dreamy new single 'Mind Is Light' ahead of their US tour. The band is made up of childhood friends who have been making music for over a decade now, allowing their sound to have developed into something consistent and alluring. With this new track they hark back to their early days for inspiration as singer Sumi Choi states: “We wanted to make a simple song like the early songs of Say Sue Me. I wish I could take my mind lightly, but it easily becomes heavy. I thought about how to lighten my mind. First of all, I walk outside and BELIEVE that my heart is light. Second, I think it doesn’t matter if it’s not true.” Their first new music since 2022's acclaimed The Things We Left album, 'Mind Is Light' is a 90's indie indebted haze of uplifting melodies floating through waves of distorted guitars and distant reverb-drenched vocals.
